  • Hancock Whitney Appoints Suzette Kent to Its Holding Co Board. Kent most recently served as the Federal CIO for the US govt. Prior to that, Kent served in leadership positions at JP Morgan, EY, Accenture, & Carreker (FiServ).  
  • Empire State Bank Announces Election of Penda Aiken to Its Board. Aiken is President & Principal Owner of Penda Aiken Inc., a prime talent acquisition firm. PAI has completed 25,000+ engagements in a wide range of disciplines since 1990.  
  • Ruth I. Dreessen, independent chair of Gevo, Inc., has been appointed to DMC Global’s Board. Dreessen has extensive board experience, having served on 8 public and private-company boards during her career, and has chaired 3 audit committees. 
  • Eleni Istavridis has been appointed to Sonoco's Board of Directors. She retired from Bank of New York Mellon in 2015 where she was EVP and Head of Investment Services for Asia Pacific in Hong Kong.
  • TSX: Regulus Resources Appoints Anna Tudela to Board of Directors. Most recently, she was the VP of Diversity, Regulatory Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Goldcorp and was actively involved in acquisitions/mergers with Wheaton River Minerals, Placer Dome Canada, Glamis Gold Ltd. and many other transactions culminating with the takeover of Goldcorp by Newmont Mining Corporation. 
  • Mid-America Apartment Communities, Inc., Announces Appointment of Edith Kelly-Green to its Board of Directors. Kelly-Green is a founding partner in The KGR Group, owner of a large chain of restaurants in the Mid-South region of the U.S. She began the business in 2005 following her retirement in 2003 as Vice President and Chief Sourcing Officer of FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation. 
  • iBio Also Announces Appointment of Dr. Alexandra Kropotova, VP of Global Specialty R&D, Respiratory & Inflammation Therapeutic Area at Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Dr. Linda Armstrong, Global Head of the Respiratory Development Unit at Novartis, to its Board of Directors. 
  • Werner Enterprises (WERN) Announces that Carmen Tapio, Owner, President & CEO of North End Teleservices, LLC, has been appointed to its Board.
  • Spectrum Brands Holdings Appoints Anne S. Ward to the Board of Directors. Ward currently serves as the CEO of CURiO Brands, a privately-held consumer goods company, and was previously President and COO of Johnson Publishing Company where she led the Ebony, Jet and Fashion Fair Cosmetics business units.
  • Fluor Corporation announced that the company named Teri P. McClure to its board of directors. McClure was with United Parcel Service (UPS) for nearly 25 years where she was most recently the company’s chief human resources officer and senior vice president, labor. 
  • Healthcare Leader Kim Tzoumakas has been appointed To Transparent Health Marketplace Board of Directors.
  • Semtech Appoints Paula LuPrior, CEO and Co-founder of Wujitech, to Its Board.
  • Allena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALNA) today announced the appointment of Ann Miller, M.D., to its board of directors. Dr.  Miller has launched and grown multiple blockbuster products and built leading franchises over the course of her career for companies that include Sanofi, Eisai, Amgen, and Merck.
  • Element Announces Virginia Addicott Appointed to Board of Directors. Addicott spent the majority of her professional career with FedEx, where she held a number of key leadership positions, most recently as President and CEO of FedEx Custom Critical.
  • Dorman Products has appointed Lisa Bachmann, former EVP, Chief Merchandising & Operating Officer of Big Lots, to  the Company’s Board of Directors.
  • Saint Alphonsus CEO Odette Bolano has been appointed to Idaho Power & IDACORP Board of Directors. Saint Alphonus is a five-hospital system across Idaho and Oregon.
  • DICK'S Sporting Goods Names Desiree Ralls-Morrison, currently SVP, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Boston Scientific Corp, To Its Board Of Directors. 
  • Reynolds Consumer Products welcomes Ann Ziegler to board of directors. Ziegler was SVP and CFO of CDW Corporation and currently serves on the boards of: US Foods Holding Corp. (USFD), Wolters Kluwer (WKL), Hanesbrands Inc. (HBI), and Revolution Foods.
  • Steelcase Announces Appointment of Linda Williams, currently Chief Audit Executive & VP of Enterprise Risk Management at HPE, to its Board of Directors.


  • Zogenix announces three additions to board: Caroline M. Loewy, Mary E. Stutts, and Denelle J. Waynick. Board of ten has four women, including two Black women directors. Loewy most recently served as co-founder, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer of Achieve Life Sciences, Inc., while Stutts currently currently serves as the SVP of Corporate Relations at Sumitovant Biopharma, a global biopharmaceutical company, where she is responsible for leading the strategic integration of corporate branding, digital innovation, communications, patient advocacy and inclusive diversity. Waynick currently serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of MyoKardia. 
  • United Bankshares, Inc. Appoints Dr. Patrice A. Harris to its Board of Directors. Harris is a practicing psychiatrist trained in child/adolescent and forensic psychiatry and the immediate past president of the American Medical Association, the first African American woman to hold that position. Harris is also the chair of the AMA Opioid Task Force. 
  • TC PipeLines, LP announces the appointment of Peggy Heeg to the Board of Directors of its General Partner. Board of six has two women.Ms. Heeg is a partner with Reed Smith LLP, international law firm with 2,000 lawyers, where she provides strategic advice on a broad range of energy, complex governance, regulatory and business matters. 
  • Fortress Value Acquisition Corp. appoints Maryanne Lavan and Connie Duckworth to board in conjunction with Its Merger With MP Materials. Lavan is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Lockheed Martin Corporation;  Duckworth is a former Partner and Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, having been named Partner in 1990, the first woman sales and trading partner in the firm’s history. Board will have seven members, two of whom are women. 
  • Cracker Barrel Old Country Store appoints Gisel Ruiz, a recently-retired, 26-year veteran of Walmart, where she served most as EVP and COO of Sam’s Club, to its board. Board of 10 has four women, three people of color. 
  • Newmont Corp has added Susan N. Story to its Board of Directors. Story served as the President & CEO of American Water Works until retiring in 2020 and previously as its CFO. NME Board of 11 has five women and one person of color. 
  • Edgewell Personal Care Appoints Swan Sit to its Board. Sit previously served as Nike's VP of North America Digital Commerce Capabilities, Business Operations & Service, as well as VP of Global Digital Marketing.
  • From July: Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) has elected Paula A. Price to its board. Price, a seasoned board director, served most recently as EVP and CFO of Macy's, Inc. She was also EVP and CFO for Ahold USA, controller and CAO of CVS Caremark Corporation, and in senior leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase, Prudential Financial, Diageo, and Kraft Foods. A certified public accountant, she began her career at Arthur Andersen & Co. (BMS also added Derica W. Rice).
  • COO of Girls Who Code Tarika Barrett, Ph.D., Is Named To McGraw Hill's New Board of Directors. Barrett's "deep knowledge of the education sector and her strong background in the use of technology in the classroom will be of great benefit to us as we continue our digital transformation" according to MH's CEO.
  • Rudina Seseri appointed To MSC Industrial Supply Co.'s  Board. Seseri is  founder & managing partner of Glasswing Ventures, an early stage VC firm dedicated to investing in the next generation of AI-powered tech companies.
  • National Vision announced the appointment of Naomi Kelman to its Board. Kelman is the former CEO & president at Willow, was the first woman on the executive committee at Novartis, and held multiple roles at Johnson & Johnson, Clairol and Amex. 
  • ADP Nominates Linnie M. Haynesworth to its Board: retired in 2019 as Sector VP & GM of Cyber and Intelligence Mission Solutions Division for Northrop Grumman Corp's Mission Systems Sector, after a four-decade career in aerospace & defense systems. 
  • Olema Oncology Announces Appointment of Cynthia M. Butitta, who most recently served as COO & EVP and CFO of Kite Pharma to Board. (Board: 1 woman/7 total & Execs: 1/7) 
  • American Homes 4 Rent Appoints Michelle C. Kerrick to its board. Kerrick is a 35-year veteran from Deloitte, where she served as West Region Market Leader and  Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office.
  • Federal Realty Investment Trust Appoints The Honorable Nicole Y. Lamb-Hale to its board. She previously served an Assistant Secretary of Commerce and Deputy General Counsel in the U.S. Department of Commerce.  
  • Shift Technologies to Add Victoria McInnis (MBA, JD), a long-time automotive industry senior executive at GM, & Kellyn Kenny (MBA), most recently Global CMO at Hilton, to its  Board of Directors 
  • Enova Announces New Board Member Linda Johnson Rice, CEO of Johnson Publishing Company, LLC, formerly the parent company for Ebony and Jet magazines and Fashion Fair Cosmetics 
  • Cynosure Taps Former Disney and MGA Entertainment Executive Anne Gates for Its Board of Directors and chair of the Audit Committee.  


  • Caroline Levy appointed to Board of Directors of Celsius Holdings, Inc., bringing 30+ years of industry and capital market expertise to Board.
  • Herman Miller announced the appointment of Candace Matthews to the Board of Directors
  • Qualigen Therapeutics Appoints Amy Broidrick to its Board of Directors
  • Deborah Elam becomes DJE Holdings’ first Black board member. 
  • TrustCo Bank Corp NY (Nasdaq: TRST) announced that Kimberly Adams Russell have been elected to the Board of Directors of the Company and its subsidiary, Trustco Bank. 
  • Proctor & Gamble (P&G) appoints Debra Lee, the former chairman and CEO of Black Entertainment Television to its board.
